Are you avoiding your family in order to play Farmville?

One so called “professional”  simply named Abhinav says that people are avoiding their own personal lives in order to play Farmville. The Deccan Herald quotes this mysterious person with no last name as saying,  “People are now spending more time updating status and playing Farmville or Mafia Wars than making a call to someone who actually matters.” While the source of the quote seems sketchy the premise seems very logical. I have seen people who are clicking zombies who are just trying to get the best veggies, barns, animals, and collect the most money on their Farms. I’m sure you have a few people on your Facebook profile who only post their Farmville status updates.

Are you playing Farmville to avoid your own personal lives?

What are some Good Farmville Cheats?

A new player is searching the internet right now looking for the perfect answer to the question “What are some Good Farmville Cheats” and hopefully we can help him or her out. There are plenty of ways to get ahead in your farmville planting career. I always recommend planting crops that fit around your busy life. If you know for sure you are going to have time in 8 hours to fertilize or harvest your crops then choose one of those seeds that can get you there. Or if you want to be in farmville sooner choose one of the 2 or 4 hour seeds.

What are some other cheats that you know about Farmville? Post in the comments!

Farmville Fan Cow Cost

farmville-fan-cow[1] The price of purchasing a Fan Cow in Farmville just got a whole lot cheaper. Instead of spending real money or mastering a lot of crops to get Farmville Dollars, you will soon be able to buy the amazing heffer for some major coinage. Each cow will set you back $50,000.

According to Games.com the price reduction came after over 3 million fans joined a Facebook Farmville Cows fan page. Zynga promised the group that if fan page would gain a lot of users then they would drop the price for the cow.

No word on when this change will take place, but Zynga promised it would be very soon.

Its here! One Click Harvesting for Farmville

farmville-one-click-harvesting[1]Users have been clamoring for Zynga to get their act together and eliminate some of the clicking we have to do in order to enjoy Farmville. According to Games.com the latest update will please the masses. Zynga has introduced a revolutionary apple-like feature that really does change the game. One click harvesting for animals and trees!

Just as the name suggests all you need to do is click your tree or animal once in order to claim to harvest booty. No longer do you have to go into a 1990’s like drop down menu!

Does having this new feature make it more likely you will buy animals and trees for your Farmville Farm?

Have you longed to fertilize your crops while on the road? Well pretty soon you will be able to check in on your farm anywhere using the official Zynga Farmville iPhone and iPad applications. Is Farmville Barn raising Against Facebook’s Terms of Service?

farmville-barn-storage[1] The new introduction of the Farmville Barn Raising feature brings up an interesting dilemma, does it break Facebook Terms of Service, and is it downright abusive? Some users are beginning to find that if they try to share their Barn Raising links on Facebook they will get a message back that says:

‘Some content in this message has been reported as abusive by Facebook users. ‘

Then it doesn’t allow you to complete the post.

Do you think this aggressive sharing is a way to get around the limits sharing limits set by Facebook over the past month and should Zynga think of a different strategy to "raise the barn.”

New Multiple Chicken Coop Glitch in Farmville

The website Farmville Freaks has uncovered yet another Chicken Coop glitch that when executed gives you the ability to obtain more than one of the mystery egg incubating structures. Basically the glitch is your current coop will hatch a new coop. It’s totally weird and random and probably will be fixed within days.

Here is a video explaining the process:

You can learn more about this glitch on Farmville Freaks.

Farmville Storage Expansion Update

The one thing that I love about the game Farmville is that the creators are constantly upgrading the game so that the experience is never the same. In this latest update they are introducing Storage Expansion. Zynga explains it as follows:

Hey Farmers!

You can store more than ever with the new Storage Expansion! Please find a quick guide on how this feature works below.

Storage Expansion:

You can now increase the capacity of your Storage Buildings.

Each of your storage buildings can be upgraded twice. The first upgrade will provide you with 5 extra storage and the second upgrade will provide 7 extra storage. The two upgrades will give you 12 extra storage spaces in total.

There are two ways to expand your Storage. The first way to expand storage is to pay Farm Cash. If you wish to purchase the storage upgrade with FarmVille cash (10 FC), you can do so by clicking the “BUY” button.

Alternatively, you can hold a Barn Raising, by clicking the "Expand Storage" button.

After choosing to expand your storage, you will receive a pop-up, like the one below.

expandstorage[1]

clicking the "okay" button will allow you to post a feed to your wall.

After posting your feed, you will have 3 days to have 10 of your friends click on your feed. (Each of your friends can help ONCE per day (24 hours). Up to a total of 3 times (once per day) during the Barn Raising. This means you do not necessarily need 10 unique friends.

When you click on a friends feed asking for Barn Raising, you will receive 100 coins.

If you wish to “give up” on the barn raising, you can click the “GIVE UP” button and the barn raising will cease. Please keep in mind that you can only raise 1 storage item at a time.

If you do not manage to get 10 clicks on your feed in three days, you can purchase the storage upgrade at a discounted price equivalent to the amount of clicks you received.

The closer you manage to get to 10 clicks, the cheaper it will be to purchase with Farm Cash.

If you have any feedback or opinions you would like to share about this update, please make sure to post in the following thread:

Canadians are addicted to Farmville

farmville_its_ok_to_be_different_tshirt-p235748561702117022t5e4_400[1]

Perhaps its the colder climate, or the lack of global warming killing molecules in the air, but the people up in Canada are enjoying Farmville just as much as the rest of us. Actually there is a whole slew of countries that round up the Top Six Countries using Farmville.

1. United States

2. Turkey

3. The Philippines

4. The United Kingdom

5. Italy

6. Canada

Ok, number six isn’t something to brag about. Farmers in Canada: now is the time to tell everyone you know about Farmville and become more popular on this list. Surely you can beat out Italy and become number five? Eh!

"Initially it’s very addictive," said Toronto television producer Robert Prowse, 59, who says he spends about half an hour a day on the game.

"It was my sister-in-law in Calgary who got me playing because everybody’s looking for neighbours. In order to get points and expand your farm and things like that you have to find other players."
